One Crazy Day Of A Photographer In London

Hello everyone. My Name is Lena and I am a photographer from Moscow. Sometimes I go to London and my life there is just crazy. So I want to show you one of these crazy days.

Saturday, November 12, London.

It’s morning and I’m already late for a meeting with friends and my cellphone’s dying. I have to run!

Then I find out that the clock shows the wrong time and it’s 10.08 a.m. Great! I have time for breakfast!

Damn, I have a hangover… It was fun yesterday!

I love blueberries!

Do you like this picture? I do.

Me. I look Ok for a girl with a hangover.

I wonder, how cold is it now in Moscow?

Tourists rarely come to this place…

Traditional London fog.

Some people live in their boats. See that dog? It’s not a stray one.

Amazingly, but I’m quite used to these beautiful views…

Tourists taking photos.

Guards chatting about life…

I’ve never been there so I have to do this some time.

It’s morning and a lot of people are heading to parties! Very common for London.

In the background, there is a ‘cucumber-building’.

Charity organizations representatives are collecting donations.

Another charity event.

They’re smiling at me and I’m smiling back. In London, people usually smile to each other.

On Saturdays and Sundays, the City is almost empty.

People are waiting for a bus.

What time is it? Fine, I’m not late.

This information screen in the underground shows that I’ll have to make a circle because the line I need (Nothern line) is partially closed.

On my way.

Underground passages are this long and empty all the time especially in the evenings.

I think I could go to this exhibition!

Keep on going.

This is the house I live in.

Elderly ladies are waiting for a bus.

I’ve always wanted to take a picture of this fuchsia!

On Saturdays, they hold a farmer’s market near my house.

I do love flowers.

People buying ice cream.

My suitcase. I think I need to change my clothes.

Victoria, a friend of mine, has made a couple of fried eggs for me. I’m so thankful to people who feed me when I have a hangover!

The farmer’s market.

In this cup, there is aspirin. I looks not that great but I hope it’ll help me.

Charging my cellphone. Poor cellphone. I dropped it so many times but I don’t want a new cellphne because I’m used to this one.

A couple of more photos from the farmer’s market for you.

Nice hydrangea by the neighboring house.

In the underground again.

I hate being late!

I like underground advertisements.

My bus is number 8 and it is arriving in 1 minute.

Here it is.

Another market.

I’m 20 minutes late!

I text my friends and they reply that it’s Ok and they’re waiting for me.

This is Conrad and he’s going to a store.

We have a lot of food here because a local cafe gives away its sandwiches which are left in the evening.

I still  have a headache so I refuse to eat…

In the backyard.

Radeck and Ris discuss if Radeck’s jacket is Ok for photographing.

We took this artificial fireplace into the street.

7 people live in this house (just like in ‘Friends’) and this is their duty table.

Radeck has a huge collection of cool clothes and we like taking photos of each other in them. This is what we’re going to do now.

These are overalls by a well-known designer. Ris said that he was too skinny to wear them which I agree with.

Local people begin coming up to take a photo of the guys too.

It’s getting dark so we have to go inside.

A photo to remember this great day by.

The fireplace is back home too.

It’s around 6 p.m. and we’re hungry.

It’s aready dark, the farmer’s market is over and I have to go home.

This neighborhood is slowly turning into a popular tourist place.

People are preparing their cars for winter.

Victoria called me and suggested going to some place.  Ok, it’s Saturday, why not!

Waiting for Victoria at Liverpool station.

Finally, we’re heading to a pub!

I had a glass of orange juice with vodka. The party’s started!

All these people want to get into the pub because they’re holding another party in there.

We’ve been to three pubs already but it’s still no fun. We decide to go to some place closer to home.

At the bus station.

We’re at another pub and it looks even more boring than the previous ones!

The good side of it is that next day I had no hangover.
