One Moscow Saturday of Mine

My Sample Day

One day of your life

One Moscow Saturday of Mine

Hello everyone here! My name’s Anna. Yesterday was Saturday, I had a rest, went shopping, worked and took photos of everything I saw. I didn’t do anything highly intellectual, in fact I’m an ordinary girl who lives in Moscow and looks like thousands of such Moscow girls of my age… So welcome to my November 5th, 2011.

My day began early, I usually get up much later. But that time I decided I had to learn to make days pleasant and positive and thus, more successful. Besides I had to be at a history lecture, not bad.
The alarm clock wakes me up at 7 am, but I don’t get up at once… The alarm clock defines my location as Khimki, though I live in Yuzhnoye (South) Tushino. Strange…

The weather is not impressive…

Time to leave my warm bed…

Dressing on the way to the bathroom, I’m not sleepy anymore.

Trying to take good shots, and succeed only for the 10th time… and in black and white… I will save you from those where I have a green face or a deadpan…

I don’t eat much in the morning, tea and sweets are enough…

And two packs of happiness, I’ve been addicted to them since childhood.

Making a face of a sleepy girl in the mirror…

My friend is calling me and telling she will pick me up from Sadoviy – so I have half an hour more!

Checking the weather forecast

My favourite perfume

Now I’m ready to go!

It’s only getting light outside, though it’s already half to 9 am.

Drop in the subway..

And come out at Barrikadnaya, It’s already light!

No too crowded yet, and no raining, I even like such Moscow.

Look how nice the building looks in the sunshine! By the way, it’s the dwelling building.

Then my friend picks me up and hare we are, entering the Institute, lectures at 9 am on Saturday! Why not? ))

My speciality, by the way, is not humanitarian at all, why we need history on the 5th year – who knows? But I really like it – the lectures are very interesting!

Listening about Yekaterina II

Back outside, but we aren’t going home…

We are going to GUM! (State Department Store)

First of all, it’s always beautiful there, and you always want to be there…

Secondly, I need to be there for work…

Thirdly, It’s still my day off and I have a right to go shopping, and this “thirdly” is the most pleasant! )

GUM is wonderful as always, it attracts crowds of foreigners. I go up to drop in the drugstore. It’s where I work. Although not in a single one, but in dozens of them… What I do is decorating shelves for some medicines, make them look more presentable. I like my work very much – flexible hours, always in motion and much communication with different people. Well, enough talking!  ))

I decide to have a cacao and a snack. So I go to a coffee house. I am given advertising some booklet..

My order – cold and not too much attractive ((

Decide to walk here and take some photos.

These bikes cost not less than 1 thousand EUR

And they are awesome!

Orchids next to the jewelry shop

Here I will buy an eye liner

Passing by other temptations I go to the exit. I feel I have to work …

Red Square. I’ll restrain from standard views) There are many people, the weather is nice, though it’s freezing a bit. I am wrapping myself in the scarf I’ve just bought and hurrying to Tverskaya.

Ritz Carlton welcomes me on Tverskaya St. It bought the building of my institute that is now behind it, among the yards.. I am recollecting how we used to run to McDonald’s on the first year without taking white gowns off. I feel so sorry now..

On the right, high buildings and stores, stores, stores … No, Anna, don’t even think about it!

I wait for a trolley-bus for 20 min!

I turn to Sadovoye – here’s another drugstore. Then I visit Mossovet garden – from where fall hasn’t left yet..

Posters, posters, posters…

Crossing Triumphalnaya Square and see the clock at last! Now I know the time..

Sitting at the bus stop I am thinking that if we didn’t know the date we could enjoy the sun and the spring ))

Still waiting

And finally!

Leningradka

Some weird ads… “Fashionable smartphone and wall lampshade”, “Plasma screens and bib-cocks”, “Vegetable slicer, chisel and gold pendand” – in Russian these words are rhymed.

Another drugstore is ahead

I am done with the work and now heading to the bus stop near Polezhaevskaya Street.

More trophies in my hands))

Someone has left the doggie alone.. (

This drugstore is going to be the last today… I promise.

Another dog, this one is not alone

“I’m loving it!” )

Going finally home

Buying the magazine I was going to buy 4 days ago..

It’s still fall around my house

I’m home

My buyings, is it OK i show them? )

I need some warmth

Time

Then I fell asleep to wake up in 2 hours, going to brush my teeth.

Trying the new eye liner, not so smooth, but it’s the matter of practice..

Getting colder

Mom’s sending an obligatory SMS from St. Petersburg, she’s resting with friends in the Hermitage.

Then – everything usual – PC, Skype, tea…

Good night!
