If You Dream To Be a Singer

My Sample Day

One day of your life

If You Dream To Be a Singer

Hey!

My name is Ira, I live in Kiev. I’m almost 30 years old and my work is related to concerts and artist management.

The day I want you to see happened half a year ago. At first, I thought that I failed it because I skipped a large and important part of the day but later I found out that a friend of mine did take those photos so everything was fine.
That day I worked at Z-Games Kazantip music festival helping a girl who wanted to become a singer.

Welcome to my day!

I woke up at 8 a.m. (which is earlier than usual) and saw this:

I’m not an early riser so I don’t like mornings.

Soon, I am to receive a payment for the work done and then my fridge will be full of all kinds of tasty things…

So far it’s just tea.

And a pineapple I received as a present.

My kitchen. It is designed not for cooking. It is designed for partying.

I love dry flowers! I always feel so bad throwing them away…

My table is meant for my laptop and tea. As for food, I eat sitting on that sofa and, as a rule, watching or reading something on my computer.

Also, I’ve been planning to combine my kitchen and living room for close to three years but keep putting the reconstruction off. By the way, that’s why I don’t renew it but hung it all over with pictures.

Pictures I take in my bathroom don’t always come out well because of yellow and orange colors of the walls.

By the way, I use an electric tooth brush. I just love the vase.

I love facial masks so my friends always know what I’ll be happy to have as a present.

My huge balcony is a place where my friends and I hung out in summertime.

It’s 10.10 a.m. and I think I have to go.

The view from my balcony. In front of my house there is a park and the Dnepr River. It’s a perfect location for me.

Heading to the metro station.

On the bridge.

My apartment is situated in one of those houses.

I don’t like taking photos where there are a lot of people around. Besides, my camera is a bit heavy… So my next photo is taken at Pochtovaya Square. I wonder weather it is the building or the bus stop that is built awry?

‘Funicular’.

I’m at a Z-Games office and I’m going to work here for a while. This room is a kitchen/conference room/games collection.

These are guys you can meet at the festival.

It’s 1.30 p.m. People are stuck in the traffic jam and I keep going.

This street is full of cafes and in the morning people sit at the right side of the street and in the evening they sit at its left side ‘chasing the shade’.

In the underground.

Another narrow street jammed with cars.

That’s where I’m going to.

It’s time to take a photo of myself.

This is my friend, Diana. It is her who took pictures of me while I was busy working.

Breakfast at 2.20 p.m? Ok, I don’t mind.

Exploring the place.

This place is situated in a penthouse of a high-rise building in downtown Kiev. So it’s pretty cool.

Cameramen were accompanied by people who watched that nothing was broken. Nice.

This is the camera crew.

One of the actors.

The stage director and an actress.

Sugar daddies. And it’s not a joke.

This is Sonya, the girl I’m working with. She studies in London and she’s not a professional singer.

The stage director tells the actors what to do…

A love story…

We worked a lot and some people got so tired that they dozed off.

Meanwhile, I walked down to Bessarabka to take some things we needed for work and managed to buy a new pair of sandals for myself!

It’s 4 p.m. and they served lunch for the crew.

Some pictures on the walls…

It’s a break and I can have some fun!

The good-looking actor is waiting again…

Sonya’s changed her clothes and is giving an interview.

Extra players are waiting in a separate room.

Half of it doesn’t work.

It’s 8.15 and this part of the shooting is over. It’s time to change the location.

9.15 p.m. We’re at Kontraktovaya Square. Drivers in retro cars are having dinner.

Waiting for a fire-fighting truck to sprinkle the road with water and police officers to block the road.

By the way, the shooting took place right in front of the Z-Games office I’ve visited in the morning.

This car must be really expensive.

The costumier failed …

The asphalt is wet and the road is blocked so we can start shooting!

When we finished working, I saw my friends waiting for me with alcoholic cocktails so we hanged out for a while. I like night summer parties so much!

I came back home at 3.30 a.m. and had some tofu before sleep.
