Hi! I’m Ivan, 28. I was born and grown up in St. Petersburg, and I’m still living here. I’ll noway leave this city for any other because I love it very, very much. I think the idea to show your day is very interesting and it’s great to see how other people spend their days in different parts of the world! The day I’d like to show you was on the 24th of December. It wasn’t a special day and frankly speaking, I didn’t have any desire to capture it but the morning started and…
I saw my city covered with snow. I was so glad to see it because it to meet New Year without snow is very strange.
So, I got up at 9.33 am. It’s rather late for me. I usually wake up at 7.
My morning routine. I like to brush my teeth with this black toothpaste. I think it is one of the greatest inventions in the world. By the way, it was invented in our country.
The thing I do my morning exercises with.
My New year tree in the kitchen.
My morning green tea from my favourite cup. It is a gift of a man, I’ve never seen. I start my every morning with reading of succinct phrases.
I decided to begin my day with posting some letters to my friends who lived in different parts of my country. (Mail delivery department – working hours)
Here the letters are.
This is the entrance to the post-office.
Then I went to my work and saw two interesting girls. They were interesting because of their dresses.
This is the tram I went by.
A few words about my work. I manage a food production plant consisting of four parts: bake shop, milk shop, sausage shop and macaroni shop.
This is a furnace in the bake shop.
These are the patts we make. These were with meat.
The flour our patts are made of.
Our macaroni drying.
Our GAZel. I used to consider these cars not good but when I saw this one working I changed my mind.
After work I went to a meeting. Don’t ask me why. It’s intimate. People were merry and nice, banners and slogans were funny there.
“Is it you who harassed democracy?”
People demand honest elections
Everyone was smiling and full of joy.
It was very crowded
There I met two friends of mine, Alexey and Misha Lusin. Misha is a singer and a musician and he writes a very pleasant music. You can see him on the photo.
Then we walked around the city watching the first snow. I like to walk St Petersburg streets and see the places tourists are unlikely to see. There are a lot of interesting things there.
Houses with towers.
Two-storey buildings are a very rear thing for St Petersburg.
Lomonosov street begins with the two arches.
The most symmetrical street in the world. It consists only of two buildings the height of which is equal to the width of the street.
Christmas market in Ostrovsky Street.
People smile, take pictures, drink hot tea, mulled wine and hot medovukha.
This year the market was international. Each house represented meal of one country: Italy
Tankhuru – 1,7 USD
Ukraine. (Medical belts and knee-pads made of dogs’ hair)
Ukrainian menu of the day
And this is the place you can leave toys for children from orphan homes.
There will be a concert in the evening.
Nokia presents their gadgets.
Ded Moroz (Russian Santa) met people there that day) We couldn’t pass by.
Ded Moroz and my friend Alexey
Ded Moroz and I.
New Year trees.
St Petersburg underground.
A beautiful tower.
MOD club where we bought tickets for one of the comming concerts.
Here are the tickets.
BOJARSKY party, BOJARSKY cocktail. This Russian actor is the alive symbol of our city.
A monument to Gogol.
The Book House. I always buy a lot of books there.
I’m on my way home. You can see a bus electronic conductor in the photo.
