Hello! I’m Natalia and I’m from Saint Petersburg. Unfortunately, you won’t see here the best part of my New Year celebration. I spent it in the train heading to the city of Cherepovets, the Vologda Region. I was empty, there were no passengers. Conductors were releasing fireworks and firecrackers. We saw an elderly lady with a basket of Olivier salad and people wearing red Santa’s hats. I was so happy and excited that day that I forgot to take photographs…
So, on January, 1st we woke up in the apartment of Sasha’s mother in Cherepovets.
As you see, it was me who woke up. Sasha was still sleeping. It’s his room, by the way.
I was too much for me sleeping like that.
The first thing I did that morning was trying on Sasha’s new socks (which I gave him as a New Year present).
Yesterday we were burning labdanum in this device to remove the smell of cigarettes. I doubt that Sasha’s mother still doesn’t know that we smoke.

He’s woken up and is drinking water. Meanwhile, I’m trying on gloves I received from his mother.
He’s heading to the bathroom. Perhaps, he hopes to find his glasses there.

This is what Sasha and me gave to Sasha’s mother for New Year – a soap.
I put on Sasha’s shorts to go smoke a cigarette.
I didn’t like the way I looked in those shorts…
So we were smoking wearing our underwear.
Then we decided to make coffee.
Guess where’s Sasha’s and where’s my breakfast here?
Sasha’s mother brought us some clothes to try on.
Would you wear a hat like that?
Or like that?
Then, we headed for a walk.
This is a cafe where you can smoke. By the way, prices here are even higher than those in Saint Petersburg!
We agreed that it was better to smoke in the bathroom, bought a bottle of wine and went home.
However, my plans have been changed by a hockey game on TV.
And by low-calorie chebureks.
Then we enjoyed a bath…
And pancakes with milk.
Taking a bath again.
We’re tired…
And hot!
Burning labdanum again.
And I guess it’s late.
If you think that we went to bed, you’re mistaken. We went to make a salad.
And boil some meat dumplings.
I had some meat dumplings too.
After that, I was reading a book…
Until Sasha fell asleep.
It’s almost morning…
