One Day Spent In The Airports Of Dubai, Bangkok and Hong Kong

Hello, I am Olga. I will tell you about one day that was spent in flights. It was on January 23 2012 when I didn’t have any work till February 1 and decided to fly from Moscow to Bangkok through Dubai and Hong Kong.

When I came to Dubai, it was Sunday here, so I didn’t get a chance to sleep. Meanwhile, it was midnight in Moscow.

I will spend in the airport of Dubai three more hours and need to entertain myself. The terminal is really big and you will spend 1 or 1,5 hours just by walking along it.

Speedwalks are intended to make people’s journey comfortable.

I didn’t take a photo of modern times as I developed sudden depression and just stayed at the same place for the rest of time.

I bought a ticket and got an armchair at the end of the corridor.

I flew by Airbus A330 and didn’t like the plane. There was no free space at all and I sat too close to another armchair. The plane doesn’t fit for a flight that lasts 7 hours.

First we got drinks, then food. I always order special menu because it is always served first.

Those who fly with Emirates know how good their food is, that is why I didn’t have a snack in airports.

I feel asleep later.

It was 10:30 in Moscow when we reached Hong Kong. The weather was too bad but we landed softly. I love Emirates. I had 7 hours before the next flight but didn’t feel like going sightseeing in such weather.

I had to stay in the airport. Hong Kong airport is not smaller than the one in Dubai. It is one of the best airports in the world which is built on an artificial island and is the most expensive airport project according to Guinness World Records.

The business lounge was still closed and I took some photos of the airport.

I spent two hours photographing planes and then went to the business lounge.

It is 8:30 p.m. in Moscow.

I ordered some food which was very tasty.

By the way, I remember the guy who served meal last time, he is very nice.

It is time to board the plane. Those who fly business-class get drinks at once which helps to relax and not worry. We were told that due to bad weather the airplane can start shaking when flight takes off.

It took me one hour to arrive at the hotel in Bangkok. I took a few pictures of my room and will write a report later. I had a long day that actually consisted of two days without much sleep and I am going to have a rest now.
