Hi, I am Elena, I stay in Toronto with my husband and a cat. Now I am a student of Toronto University and a photographer. I will show you a day that had it all: studying, work and rest.

I am awake but my husband is still asleep.

The cat is not sleeping and enjoying the view of flying birds behind the window.

I check the weather paying attention to the ‘feel like’ index.

My cat is saying good-buy to me.

I have reached the subway. Let’s check the time and see if I am too late. No, 10 minutes are left till the start of the lecture.

The trains are overcrowded.

The first lecture is in geography. There are about 20 people in the classroom.

Today we were divided into groups and taught how to use the Linhof product.

Some other camera.

And a digital laboratory.

Meanwhile, it started snowing. The winter in Toronto was very warm, there was not much snow in the streets.

A lesson in performance.

It is 2 p.m. and time to have a lunch.

I will have lunch in the main humanitarian library of the University. I love the brutalism of the building though many students hate it.

They sell vintage cards here.

I bought the set for 2 dollars only.

I meet my friend here.

I warm my plain lunch in a microwave.

I will now go to the library to choose some books about Mark Rothko to write a report about Jewish Modern Art.

The large building covered with white snow is a stadium where I work.

I will take the books home.

I decided to take these two books. The electronic system helps me in that.

It is 4 p.m. and in a couple of minutes I will meet my husband who studies philosophy and Russian literature at the same University.

My Andrey.

And this is me.

I am going to work. This TV tower is the largest tower in the world.

Today the stadium invites students to skate free, taste some food and hot chocolate and weigh their bags to see if the load is too heavy.

I am going back home.

The train is here, I was lucky not to wait.

I am taking pictures of people while traveling.

It is dark at home as my husband has not come yet.

I am working with photos taken at work.

When I stopped talking to my friend who had called me, it was already 10.

My husband and I are watching movies.

We have decided to attach the posters to the wall.

One poster is ready.

The next one will be finished tomorrow as we are too tired now.

We go to bed but I don’t think we’ll fall asleep soon.
