Hanging Out In Barcelona

My Sample Day

One day of your life

Hanging Out In Barcelona

What’s up!

I’m Anna, I’m 29 and I live in Moscow. I visited Barcelona this February, the city I’m in love with, so I decided to make a report on how it was. I didn’t have special plans for that day and what I like about this city best of all is the fact that you never know where you will find yourself in the evening.

So, this is February, 11th. I hope you’ll enjoy my day!

I stayed at my friend’s. Her name is Diana and she studies Spanish here. We woke up late that day because the night before was so much fun!

Diana didn’t want me to photograph her while she was in bed.

Hey! That’s my sleepy face!

It was so cold in the bathroom!

I asked Diana to take a photo of me in the shower. She couldn’t figure out how to use my camera and it was really funny!

We sang for a while while we were getting dressed.

Yes, I like to play the fool.

Waiting for Diana.

I wanted a cup of coffee so badly!

I love the street Diana lives on.

Hey! It’s me again!

Those are croissants in the bag that I hold in my hands.

Those things displayed in the shopwindow were so mouth-watering! So I understand those people who stared at it.

Mocha is our favorite.

Can you believe it is a winter sky?

One second after I made this shot, Diana spilled some coffee on my shoe.

It was 1.10 p.m.

La Boqueria, a large public market, is situated very close to Diana’s apartment. I love it!

I checked seafood prices because I wanted to make something tasty with seafood (and I did!).

This is why we came here! We wanted to buy some freshly squeezed juice. It was just 2 Euros a glass. I chose mango.

I liked those cups!

You can’t imagine how much I love this city! I love its every brick, its every tree…

We decided to feed pigeons.

We bought pigeon food right there. It costed us just 1 Euro but brought us some much happiness!

I shared the seeds with this boy.

He was happy too!

It was Diana’s turn to feed the birds.

Then we went shopping. I wanted to buy a nice cocktail dress.

Diana found a beautiful skirt in the first store we entered!

I love shopping in Barcelona. I like how they design their stores and I also like that people smile to me.

It was sunny and warm (+10C) and we kept enjoying the day.

I’ve known Diana for almost 4 years. We met on Ibiza.

Look at that Chanel girl!

As for me, I got those nice flats.

We were hungry and entered a cafe.

I love Spanish food.

We got salmon with cheese, shrimps and truffles.

And this is spicy tuna and goat cheese.

Octopus!

I can’t say we payed a lot.

Oh, yes, we also ordered a couple of glasses of wine. I love you Barcelona!

We entered a Tous store and Diana got a nice pendent for herself.

There are too many Davids in this city…

This is what I also like this city for.

Actually, it was 4.15 p.m.

We went home to change our clothes.

Back in the street! Diana shows off her new skirt.

Buying tickets to enter the Metro (2 Euros each).

I put on my warm coat because it was getting colder.

This museum is one of the most beautiful buildings in Barcelona.

Going up.

We enjoyed the sunset.

We made a stop to take a breather.

Almost there!

I love the view from up there! It’s magnificent!

It’s beautiful inside too! (They also offer free Internet access there!)

Those are our friends. Nika thought that Claudio was gay for a long time! But he is not! They are happy together now.

Claudio is from Brazil. He’s tall and sexy.

Arina is from Russia too. She studies Spanish here in Barcelona and wants to stay in this country too.

This girl must have forgotten to put on her skirt…

We’ve been friends with Nika for about 10 years. She is a Spanish and Russian language teacher and has her own website for tourists.

Then we went for a walk.

Isn’t it beautiful?

I like Barcelona’s graffiti. It’s always to the point.

We wanted to go check out a nice exhibition but saw a long line of people who had come there to do the same.

We bought two bottles of wine to warm up while waiting in the line but failed to open them.

I was not allowed to take photographs there…

We met Russians again when we left the exhibition.

In the Metro.

We kept struggling with the wine!

La Rambla never sleeps!

We did it!

These people came out to demand that the head of the opera theater resigned.

This is a fair.

I just fell in love with this dress!

I don’t know how to wear this…

A DJ played some music so it seemed that we were at a night club or a party.

Would you wear this T-shirt?

I liked those pictures.

This is the one who set up the fair.

It was late and we were hungry. We entered a vegetarian cafe to have a bite.

Diana didn’t like it but I did.

At home.

We decided to go to a night club. It is called Sutton. It is a glamorous and popular place in Barcelona.

Our dinner.

Ready to rock it!

It was fun and we were up all night. We came home at 7 a.m.

So, this was another eventful day in my favorite city on earth!
