Hi, I am Liza. I am 25, I stay in Orel with my husband and daughter Ulyana. I will tell you about my daughter’s birthday, 28 January. She is two today. I was only a mother that day.

My morning started at 10 a.m. When I woke up Ulyana was sitting next to me with her favourite toy.

Ulyana got a present from grandmother who prefers presenting us with useful things like clothes, for example.

I am happy because my husband left me a piece of yesterday’s pizza for breakfast.

Today we are going to visit my husband’s parents.

This bag has seen too many of my trips to their house and back and is still fine.

Ulyana is watching her favourite cartoon.

My husband came back from work and got me a rose thanking for Ulyana.

Ulyana who loves flowers very much couldn’t understand why I don’t let her with the flower. We are taking Ulyana to the toy shop, she will choose something but won’t play with it at home. We got her a toy hamster and she was kissing it on our way to her grandparents.

Ulyana was calm for some minutes only and then started running around the shop grasping everything she could see. It was a real stress for me.

We have finally bought everything.

It took us 40 minutes to reach the place.

Ulyana was happy to see her aunt Olya.

While she was busy with playing I looked through some washed clothes.

I found useful journals left by my husband’s grandmother.

And we went to have dinner.

Then Ulyana and I went sleep for a while but I guess it was me who fell asleep the first.

Here Ulyana is awake and is playing with her grandfather.

I didn’t participate in salad cooking as I had to look after my daughter.

Ulyana is not wearing any nice dress because it was very cold that day.

Ulyana started her dinner with a piece of cake and only later had some meat.

She is examining a cooking book with a grandmother.

And I was listening to what the guests were saying feeling too tired to laugh.

Ulyana refuses to blow out the candles on her birthday cake and just uses a fork to stop them burning.

My husband is playing the guitar.

The little dog was thrown out to the street by some mean people. My mother-in-law let the dog in and now it stays with her.

Our grandmother is taking Ulyana with her as it is 11.30 p.m. already and is time to sleep though she does not feel like it.

We got a few gifts this time. Guests preferred to present money.

We came back home as it was too cold to sleep there.

I was very tired though I didn’t sleep much because I had to wake up all the time as Ulyana could not fall asleep.
