One day of your life

Hello From Sunny Sacramento, CA

Let me share with you some California sun!

It’s February 26th, 2012. It’s sunny and partly cloudy here in Sacramento, CA. Outside temperature is about +15C.

I want to take you to Dream Wedding Show and also show you around the city.

Hey! I’m Pavel, 44.

Morning rays of the sun woke me up at aroud 8 a.m.

I made my bed and went to the bathroom.

My breakfast: a cup of coffee, croissants and Biscrips cinnamon cookie spread. I shouldn’t have had breakfast that morning because they served “breakfast” at the show (entrance ticket cost me $10).

My apartment.

Heading to the show. It was 10.30 a.m.

I parked my car in the street and saved $10.

This bus stop features solar batteries on the roof which provide lighting at night.

This is it.

In the first building, I found a bunch of nicely served tables.

This wedding exhibition attracted hundreds of brides and grooms-to-be. It featured exhibits by over 150 companies which organize weddings. Here they could find best photographers, florists and other people specializing in wedding ceremonies in California.

Would you like to have one at your wedding?

If the carriage is too expensive for you, you can rent a couple of bikes.

Those who wouldn’t like to invite too many friends at their wedding party, can hire this musician.

That girl is lucky. She was going to have her hair done for free!

They treated their visitors to chocolate candies.

This thing was tasty too.

One could take as much as he/she wanted.

This girl offered me to taste one of her cocktails.

It smelled like flowers there.

Classic music fans would love this place.

I was done with the show and headed to downtown Sacramento.

Downtown.

This street is for pedestrians only. Even policemen here don’t have cars and have to ride their bicycles.

A homeless lady asked me to photograph her dog. There are a lot of homeless people in downtown. They are very polite when they ask you for a dollar or two.

There is a movie theater on the right.

Those are oranges!

I moved to old Sacramento.

This part of the city is historical. There are boats here which can bring you to San Francisco.

These guys make up some money on playing music.

Oops! Someone’s got a ticket.

Back in downtown.

An old church.

A jail.

A building of Federal Court and the jail.

The city’s railroad station.

Near a Mexican restaurant.

I headed to my friend’s. He has an orange tree in his backyard too.

My friend’s daughter.

It was time to go home.

My neighbor put this box with canned food out so someone took it.

I watched TV for a while and went to bed.

Bye!
