One day of your life

My Tasty February, 1st In London

Name: Tatyana

Age: 24

Marital status: married for 46 days

Place of birth: Liepāja, Latvia

Place of residence: Canary Wharf, London, GB

Occupation: housewife looking for a job

Plan for the day: shopping at the fish market, fancywork, meeting with friends, dinner, sleep.

I could hardly understand that it was my alarm clock ringing this early.

By the time I got up, my apartment-mate was up getting ready for the fish market.

My husband was asleep.

I grabbed a curd cake before leaving.

On the bus.

We got a three-kilogram salmon and more than 1 kg of seafood mix.

Sleepy but happy we wandered home on foot. We also dropped in at a supermarket.

We had to check what we got over again.

I had to wake up my husband.

He woke up, took a shower and came down to the kitchen to have breakfast.

I said good bye to my husband who left for work and laid down to take a short nap.

After an hour of unsuccessful tries to doze off, I got up and pluged in my laptop.

I surfed the Internet and knitted at the same time. I sell these things on e-bay. Then I received a call from a friend from Latvia who studied in London. We agreed to meet.

Aren’t they cute?

Me.

On my way.

The screen says that my train is to arrive in 2 minutes.

I took some photos of the surroundings.

We got enchanted by the magic of brand boutiques…

Meanwhile, I checked out if they needed a saleslady.

We moved to a Sturbucks to have a cup of coffee and chat.

A photo to remember the day by.

At the station.

I had to go home to make dinner for my husband.

My mail.

That day I didn’t receive a letter informing me about a huge fortune left to me by a remote relative. What a pity!

That’s what I bought! Those cards are for people I don’t know. I just like postcrossing.

It was 6.30 p.m. when we got down to cooking.

We snacked on these open sandwiches with butter and salmon .

We made baked salmon with cream sauce, cheese and potatoes. My husband called me and said he was going to be late.

It was 8 p.m. but my husband hadn’t returned yet!

Our neighbors.

When my husband came come, it was…

Dinner.

My husband was so impressed with the dinner we cooked that he offered us to wash the dishes!

After dinner, we went upstairs and did what we usually do. I checked my e-mail and looked for a job while my husband was “playing” with laptops.

Good night to you!
