Hi, I am Marina, 28. I was born in Belarus where I stayed till summer 2011. Then my husband was offered a job abroad, we took our cat and a couple of suitcases and moved first to Canada and later to the USA. I am not officially employed yet and want to show you my day.

My husband gets up at 8 a.m. and hurries up to work. I stay in bed till 10 but today I woke up early.

It seems that the weather will be nice today.

My cat is awake already and wonders when we are going to have breakfast.

I am adjusting temperature inside the house.

I check mail while my husband is taking a shower.

I made breakfast. It is sandwich with cheese and ham for my husband and coffee, salty cheese and fruits for myself.

We have been renting the flat for 2 month and don’t have enough furniture yet. So, we eat and work at the same table.

I am a web-project manager and help some Canadian noncommercial organization with a site on a voluntary basis.

At 9.40 I go to the shower.

And continue working after that. I drink a lot of green tea in the afternoon.

It took me more time to do the job than I planned.

There are 27 floors in our building and we live on the 12th. There is a cosy hall on the 3rd floor where one can get letters and have a cup of coffee.

I have a cup of cacao.

And get the mail.

I study the Finnish language. It is very easy for me to study the language and I like it a lot. It seems tome I have been known it for ages.

Some more exercises.

The weather is wonderful and I won’t cook lunch at home.

I feel like taking a walk across the city.

Offices and banks are located here.

I will have a lunch at a Thai cafe.

I have ordered my favorite chicken.

I go back home where my cat is having a lunch too.

I am watching news in Finnish and English.

We have not bought a TVset yet and placed an order for watching sports programs online. The access is not granted yet as well. I also read the PMBOK – Project Management Body of Knowledge to become certified in my professional sphere this month.

I can have a rest now. My cat is asleep already.

3 p.m., chapter 7.

I make some more green tea in an hour.

I use the phone to translate unknown words from the book.

I am done with chapter 7.

The city of Bellevue is surrounded with water and a lot of small ponds can be found here.

It is getting dark. My husband is still at work and I go to another park.

The park is of an oval shape and many people are jogging there in the evening. People in the region like to be in due shape.

I am driving back home.

No interesting mail today.

My husband is still at work and I have supper alone.

It is around 8 p.m. and I go to pick up my husband. He has not obtained his driving license yet and practices driving on the way back from work.

And again we go to the 3rd floor. They have free TV and wi-fi here and when we just moved in I spent here a lot of time.

I make supper fast.

I have English lessons tomorrow and need to do my homework.

I am chatting with Mom and brother.

My husband is listening to lectures and I am watching a movie.

We play Yanzee before going to sleep.

I feel sleepy now.

I will have the same day tomorrow and a class of English.
