Hey, I’m Julia, I’m 33. I’ve been living and working here in Buenos Aires for over 12 years. I’m married and have two dogs. I’m a white collar and at weekends I make up some money photographing weddings and other events.
I want to show you how I spent March 8th, 2012. My husband was on a business trip so I had to celebrate Women’s Day by myself.
My day started at 12 p.m. when my husband called me to congratulate me on Women’s Day and say how much he loved me. The day before I had a rush order and stayed up until 5 a.m.
The first thing I saw that morning was Mozart. He sleeps in my bed.
This is Bobik.
In the bathroom.
I drink tons of coffee. It’s usually with milk and a cigarette.
I also had to feed my dogs.
I feel terrible if I don’t have coffee in the morning. So no matter how late I may be, I will alway find some time to enjoy my morning cup of coffee.
This ashtray is a present from my friend. She brought it from Malaysia and I love it.
Mozart helped me make my bed.
These eyes told me it was time to go for a walk.
They were really excited to go!
When we returned home, I had breakfast number two. I told you I’m addicted to coffee!
This painting appeared a couple of months ago when I decided I could try to be an artist.
I checked my e-mail and send the price list for photography to my future clients.
I had some time to work.
Bobik helped me too.
When my friend came, it was…
I took this photo before leaving.
She gave me a flower. It was so nice of her! I didn’t want to go back and I had to take the flower with me. By the way, we were going to the gym.
It was so hot outside! Frankly speaking, I’m very tired of this Argentinean summer and its heat.
On the way.
I live in Palermo. It is a very nice neighborhood.
Entering the gym.
I love coming to the gym at this time of the day because it looks like this:
I mean it’s empty.
You can do everything you want when there is nobody around, including taking pictures!
Ok, it was time for a little workout.
I enjoyed the exercise. We did a good job!
Leaving the gym.
I took some more photos of Palermo for you.
When we came home, I put the poor flower into the vase.
Anastasia was playing with my “kids” and I went to the kitchen to make some coffee.
What time was it?
We enjoyed our coffee and discussed plans for the evening. We were to go to a restaurant to drink some wine with other friends whose husbands “left” for business trips too.
My friend went home and I had to walk my dogs again.
I was hungry so I had some cheese and drank a glass of kefir.
Then I took a shower. I had to be at work by 6 p.m.
Naturally, I couldn’t do without my makeup that day.
It was a hard choice!
Then I had to make another choice and it was even harder!
Hello again! It’s a new me!
It was my finishing touch…
I was so late!
I had to master those skills of photographing myself in the mirror.
My sister (in the middle) and my friends. We work for the same company so we often meet, exchange a couple of words after which I go to the office and they go home.
I love working when there are not many people around!
I snacked on some tea with milk and biscuits.
I didn’t have a lot of work to do so I left two hours earlier.
At the restaurant, I enjoyed my wine…
It was time to go home. I also had to walk my dogs, wash off the makeup from my face and have some sleep because the next day I was to photograph a wedding.
