Hi,I am Yana, 33. I live in Toronto. I will tell you how I spent the 11th of March, Saturday, when the Day of Saint Patrick was celebrated.

I woke up because of my cat Dolly who started playing with the curtains and I hurried up to save them.

Dolly got very upset because the funny game was stopped.

And I am upset because it is morning.

I put toilet paper on the upper shelf because it takes Dolly a couple of minutes to unwrap it.

My breakfast.

I won’t even try to save the tulips from Dolly, because it is too hot in the flat and the flowers do not look very alive any more.

I am fond of lotteries online. I hope one day I will be very lucky.

There are too many dirty dishes in the kitchen and I will have to clean them all.

I feel like cleaning.

Now the kitchen is clean.

And Dolly is playing her favorite game. We visited the parade devoted to St. Patrick Day last year. This time we would like to participate as well.

We didn’t have winter this year. I used to live in the south before and like the climate very much.

I am ready to go.

We need to get ready for the parade and buy some things.

We have arrived in time, the street is crossed already.

The head of the parade arrived very soon.

He was followed by the orchestra.

This year the parade celebrated its 25 anniversary.

Marilyn Monroe surrounded by strange creatures is singing a song.

I don’t know how the dogs are called but they looked really big and scared.

Titanic was great but DiCaprio did not come to the parade.

I guess the man is very popular here because he occupied the same honorable place during the parade that took place last year.

Drivers of the fire-engines were holding the wheel with one hand and greeted us with the other one.

The Leprecon looked very natural.

I wish they would decorate the machine with colorful ribbons to make it look brighter.

The old man was jumping high. There is an old lady who attends the same gym that I do. She handles much more weights than younger people.

The cars were made in Ireland.

And finally the hero of the day.

Cleaning machines remove the garbage that was left in the streets after the parade.

We decided to visit our favorite pub.

They offer very tasty soups here. And we always take beer.

Choosing a cake was not simple.

I am hungry and have a snack.

I am searching for a job.

We decided to go to the University.

I would love to buy a flat in the house if the prices were not that high.

The University of Toronto.

Victoria College.

Famous graduates.

Law department.

Music department.

Trinity College and a very large hostel.

Harry Potter dined at a similar wonderful dining-room.

Central library.

Heart House.

Inside the House.

Student’s Organization.

Medical building.

TV Tower.

Electrical and Computer Engineering Department.

There is too little place here and my boyfriend prefers studying at home.

I won 75 dollars in the lottery and need a print-out now.

I find the graffiti scary.

Expensive Chinese restaurant.

It is 9 p.m. and we are at home.

I am going to make a salad.

My darlings are studying. Dolly spends too much time next to the computer and deserves a diploma or at least a certificate.

I will play with Dolly and go to bed.

What are you waiting for? Make photos of your day and send them in!

You took some great photos of the parade. This was the first parade in 24 years where we did not freeze our asses off while watching it! The big dogs are Irish Wolfhounds, and are quite mild mannered. Toronto is still a nice city, but not as nice as forty years ago, when it was very different.
I AM CANADIAN says:
I’M SO GLAD SHE CHOSE CANADA TO LIVE
WE NEED MORE RUSSIANS IN CANADA.

The dogs are called Irish wolfhounds and are very rare.
