Hi, everyone. I am Oksana, my husband and me are staying in Ramat Gan, Israel. I will tell you how I spent a working day.

The alarm was ringing at 6:30 but I ignored it and stayed in bed for 30 minutes more.

We are renting an apartment now and don’t feel like making repairs.

I always have milk products for breakfast. Today I will have cottage-cheese and jam.

I usually have breakfast at my computer reading news but now I am trying to avoid the reading not to get nervous about the instable situation in Gaza.

I also feed my little fishes.

I am reading a book in Hebrew. I have been staying in the country for 3 years but don’t speak the language well. So, I can only read books for children till now which is some progress already as there are no vocal marks here.

I work at a shop for kids under 5 years old. My profession is connected with information systems but I can’t apply for the job because my Hebrew is bad. And here I can practice the language and earn money. The shop is small and only 4 people are employed. I don’t only sell, but also consult customers, work as a cashier, operator, etc.

I need to wear the uniform now.

I take a photo of myself in the only room at the shop with a mirror.

It is 9 a.m. and I open the cashier desk.

New beautiful clothes have been delivered.

My partner Ortal has come and I need to give her collected money.

Here she is.

Ortal has left for the bank and I stayed at the shop all by myself. I have never been busy with sales before but I do sale things now. It is time to have lunch.

Now I can open the boxes and set the toys for sale.

It is 3 p.m. The working day is over. I hurry up to a shop to buy shorts for my husband so that he could wear them while in the swimming pool. I also take a picture of the highest building in Israel.

The market.

My Hebrew courses start in 2 hours and I can have a walk.

The sea and running people with backpacks.

The wonder of modern art.

A carriage of the homeless woman who goes to swim.

You can rent a bicycle and go for a ride.

People are enjoying the warm spring sun playing in the street.

The yacht-club.

The house was inhabited by the first Prime Minister of Israel. A museum is located here now. The second floor is occupied by a huge library and Prime Minister knew where every book could be found.

I decide to have dinner.

The food was tasty and cheap.

The classes will take place here.

I am choosing a chocolate.

I was the first student. It is 6 p.m. and it is time to study.

Everybody goes home in 2,5 hours.

I was happy to take the bus but it was suddenly stopped by the police who checked it for suspicious objects.

I came home tired and my husband was already waiting for me. Good night!
