Hello everyone! I’m Natalia, I’m 27. I was born in Barnaul and I’ve been living in Nürnberg, Germany, for almost 11 years.
I divorced my husband 4 years ago and now I’m enjoying my life with my son and a stripy thing called Bella. I want to show you how I spent Saturday, March, 24th.
On workdays I wake up at 6 a.m. so I try to sleep as long as I can at weekends. Guten Morgen!
Feeding the stripy one.
In the bathroom.
Morning exercises. I try to do at least 15 push-ups every day. Summer’s coming and I have to look nice.
Then I take a shower.
I didn’t want to show you my face with no makeup. Sorry.
What time was it?
The kid had woken up and was playing.
I feel terrible when I don’t have breakfast in the morning.
I made some strawberry oatmeal for the kid.
I love putting makeup!
I turned on the TV to listen to the music.
It was a day-off so I thought I could make my eyes look brighter than usual.
I checked my e-mail and Facebook account and downloaded some songs on my iPhone.
The weather seemed nice so I left the jacket home.
We headed to my friend Sarah.
There are a bunch of stores in my neighborhood. It’s very convenient (if you have money).
I went to the post office to check if my mail arrived (I ordered some brushes).
In the subway.
I got a bun for Daniel coz he got hungry again.
They ask passengers not to smoke, eat or drink in the subway. It’s boring!
Nuernberger Messe is a popular exhibition center here in Nürnberg.
We had to change the train.
The subway train has no driver. At first, people were sort of scared of it but now we are very proud to have it!
Daniel has always liked chasing pigeons!
This place is unique. It’s something between a laundry and a cafe. You can read a magazine and listen to some good music while waiting for your laundry to be done.
That’s the street we needed.
Meet Sarah. She hides her face because she doesn’t want you to see her without makeup. She’s going to get married but she didn’t like the makeup artist she went to. So she asked me to try.
I love all these magical brushes and tubes because they help me look like a human in the morning.
Done. Then Sarah’s husband-to-be gave us a lift to the Ikea and then sneaked off to the gym. I understand him. It’s difficult to listen to our chit-chat.
Sarah and Daniel.
I want to replace my old furniture with new one so I go to this Ikea from time to time. I like this store. I like the quality, look and price of what they sell here.
Shopping makes you hungry fast.
We went to a restaurant to have lunch. I had meat balls, mashed potatoes, cowberry jam, salad and some cola light. The kid had the same.
It was almost 3 p.m.
Sarah went with her beau to take a look at the apartment they want to buy. Sarah’s expecting so they had to buy a bigger apartment.
We kept walking.
This is a cigarette machine. To buy a pack of cigarettes, you just have to put in some cash and your passport (or driver’s licence).
We headed to downtown to meet my friends. I like downtown because it has a bunch of beautiful fountains, stores and restaurants.
Those bicycles are for rent.
Here it is.
This is Illi. He looked happy to see us.
I drink a lot of coffee. Especially at weekends.
We enjoyed coffee outdoors. Emer is a great cook. He was preparing meat for the evening because he expected his friends to come over. It was a mouth-watering sight!
Emer offered Daniel to help him cook.
It looked like it was going to rain so we had to hurry home.
We dropped into this store…
To buy this. I can’t help buying my son nice stuff.
A Russian ensemble.
We stopped at a cafe to have some ice cream.
The clouds dissipated and we went shopping. Breuniger is a popular store selling both affordable and very expensive makeup. I got just a purse justifying myself thinking that “my old leather green one is old and dirty and I just can’t show it to other people”.
The old city.
This is the car I’m dreaming of. The one behind it is the dream of my neighbor.
In front of this museum there is a square where skateboarders hang out. Nürnberg also has the best sushi restaurant in the world so it’s a great city. Especially in spring!
In the subway again.
I couldn’t wait any longer.
The mall where we went showcased birds of all kinds so it seemed that we were somewhere in a park.
It was late and I didn’t feel like cooking at home so we went to another restaurant. I ordered my favorite Vietnamese soup and Daniel wanted sushi.
You’ve probable noticed that we like fooling around.
The stripy one was hungry when we came.
Do you like Daniel’s new shoes?
I had another cup of coffee.
The kid went to bed and I turned on my TV and sorted out the photos I took.
Everybody was tired and wanted to sleep.
A read a book for a while and dozed off.
What are you waiting for? Make photos of your day and send them in!
