Hi there! I enjoy reading the days of other people but I had no time to write about my own day. I am always working so I just didn’t manage to take pictures and stuff. Besides after work I am so tired. But now I managed to do that. You will see my usual Saturday. So my name is Lena and I am the boss of the McDonald’s restaurant.

I have been working here like for ten years but you know it seems like I have just started. It seems like just yesterday I came and boom now I am the boss. My restaurant is the best. I don’t want to offend the restaurant on the Pushkarevskaja street… I know it was the first opened McDonald’s here but… Only in our restaurant you can see all the inventions of McDonald’s. I mean the McCafe, the McAuto and the McCity of course!

So today is Saturday. The time is 05:30 and it is time to wake up! All the neighbors are still asleep and it is so dark outside. I know that a lot of people hate waking up so early but I love it. I think my job got me used to it. I always get up at 5:30. Even if I have a day off. So I have a lot of work to do. This day is really important!

I have to check the restaurant. I need to see if everything is ready as on Saturday we have a lot of people coming to eat. Hooray! I also remembered that today we will see a lot of children and hold their birthday parties! As my mom used to say : “Wake up, great deals are waiting for you!” Actually it is difficult to fall asleep again as my huge cat starts running all over me. He weighs about 15 kilos! He needs his breakfast!

Looking out of the window. I hate snow. We have to clean all the roads near our restaurant and it is quite a task. But we will manage to solve that!

It’s a Beautiful Day! )))

So the food for the cat is ready and I need the INTERNET. I check my mail in the morning. I also listen to the music as it gives me good mood for the whole day. For all these deals I have about 15 minutes. This is my timetable. I always come to work on time.

So now it is 5:45 and I am drinking tea without sugar but with cottage cheese, some nuts and fruits. This is my usual breakfast. So while eating I managed to make a plan for today and now it is time to leave!

It is 6:00 and I am done with eating. I will also have a snack at work. So now I am putting on my outfit.

A shirt and a tie. Oh! And also a ring! One of my friends made up a joke about it. He said that the ring opens some doors to the secret places of the restaurant. I didn’t want to disappoint him so I keep wearing that ring. It is golden by the way! I got it as a present at my work. I will show it in the end))  So you will see what are the presents like here in McDonald’s!

So the time is 06. 15. I got my keys and driving licenсe and it is time to get my car out of the snow.

It is time to work! I love my way there. The streets look amazing!

Today the traffic is OK. I didn’t get even in one traffic jam. So the time is 6:30 and I am here.

Everything is working so the lunch is waiting for me. I look forward to this amazing working day. The time is 6:40 and I am checking everything. All the colleagues are on their places. They all look pretty good although they have been working for the whole night. And the road is clean now.

And this picture looks like a shot from a movie or something. It is so cozy in our restaurant. Even in the morning.

A knock on the door of our second restaurant and the door opens. The night manager is smiling and my working day begins! The time is 06.50. So I am saying hi to other colleagues that are preparing the McAuto for the children. They are our beloved guests.

Here they will be doing their favorite things! I mean playing and having fun. And our task is create the most amazing atmosphere for that. We are responsible for their comfort and safety. So right now we are cleaning the whole thing and checking it. It is important. We do it everyday.
This is Pasha and he is responsible for cleaning.

And this is our room for children.

Today we are holding eight birthdays! This is such a great event. I love such working days.

The time is 06. 55 and the next deal is the McCAfe. We need to make it totally clean. And for that we got only ten minutes. The first guests will come at seven! So now I am checking if all the food is on its place. And by the way thank you guys for the pictures!

So the night manager got a lot of work to do. She has to change the labels of the muffins, to check the Happy Meal toys and a lot of other stuff. And I just wish to get to my lunch!

Back at the office. During two days I got a lot of mail and a lot of stuff to do on the computer.  Hurry up! Hurry up!

And this is my notebook. It looks so funny but inside… The timetable is pretty tense and I won’t show you it. It is a secret!

So in 15 minutes the real work will begin. So I really have to hurry up. The most usual word during the day is thank you . I got used to hearing it constantly. Our staff is friendly and we totally get each other. Every little detail counts.

Now I am looking through the information about the night. How much they sold and stuff. And smiling of course!

The mirror took too much of my time. I have to hurry to another place.)
07. 30 and I have to check all the machines. The great quality of all that we do depends on it and we manage to keep it through the years. It sounds a bit pompous bit it is still so. Otherwise people wouldn’t come everyday and eat here.
This photo is full of details. You can see us all beautiful and sweet and the new  sweet things going to the oven!

Did you know that everyday we make brand new sweet stuff? Yeah! That is how we do that!

I need to check everything properly!

Now we are getting rid of the dirt!

Done! I asked to make a picture of me in this amazing polished room!

Now it is time to let half of the staff go. They managed to work through the night so it is time to get some sleep. Thanks for your work!

So now somebody is home and somebody has to work for the whole day. And this thing helps to check if the food is OK.

No matter how tasty the sandwich is it will never stay like that longer than 10 minutes. My friends used to say : “You check your BigMacs like hundreds of time and in ten minutes you just throw it right away and don’t you regret that?”. Nope. People love us for that. We keep our food fresh and this is the quality of the restaurant. The food is safe and this is why it is healthy. So our standards are pretty strict. Said too much. That always happens to me. Sorry. Got carried away as usually.
08.00 and I have another deal to do. I need to count all the products. And to check if they look according to the standards. If not… bye then! Now on my kitchen I do the same stuff. Before eating I need to check everything and read all the labels.

We keep only fresh products.
08. 15 and it is time for breakfast! Not for mine… We need to cook something for the guests.
These are our scrambled eggs. People love it. It is the most beautiful thing!

At the kitchen we have such screen that show all the orders nd we just cook according to them.

These ate toasts and they are pretty popular.

Back at the McCafe and I asked to make a cup of coffee as we need to check the quality and the way the cream looks like. Everything is OK.

Everyday we check our coffee and here id the photo of the process. Actually I just check the upper layer. It has to be like 3 mm and has this amazing color. And the smell. OMG! I just got into heaven!
9.15  and it is time to check the oil. People tend to say that we cook on one oil like for the whole year,. It is totally not true. We change it everyday!

I regret that they don’t sell this oil here and we have to order it from other places. This oil was invented by Russian scientists and only after that got to Europe. OK I am finishing the chemistry class. You have already guessed that I love my job and know a lot.

9.40-10.10 and I have noticed that the morning is pretty much over.

So here comes my lunch! Hooray! I earned it! So the main question of the day… What am I gonna eat?

This is a very important moment. We got everything done and now we are waiting for the first guests.

So now I am discussing the whole morning deals and we are making a plan for the rest of the day.

So now I am eating my lovely hush-brown, a muffin and coffee. So tasty!
The lunch is eaten and I have some spare minutes to rest. I will show you one place which is a kind of secret. This is where our workers eat.

I like it here. You can relax and spend some time on the INTERNET. So I decided to check my facebook account. I always check the new information in the group ” Voice of MacDonald’s” and I love this group.
10:40 and the work keeps going. A lot of guests are coming and this is awesome!

I have to check the whole restaurant one more time. All the notes are taken down. I mustn’t forget anything!
11:45 and one more walk across the restaurant. Nastya will hold it for me. She is going to be an instructor.

If she does it right she will be promoted. I need to check if she is ready. So I will pretend that I know nothing and she will start to teach me. So the kitchen comes first!

Oh my face is so interested!

Oh yes! She managed to complete this task. She will be an instructor! Good for her!

12.30-13.00 and while we have not so many guests I decided to do some deals  that I didn’t manage to complete in the morning.

13.00-15.00 and finally it is time when a lot of guests come. The time for lunch. I love talking with our guests. It makes me feel good to see them happy and finally full.

I love kids and their happy look makes me feel so well.

I managed to talk with practically everybody and I run all over the place like every half hour as I need to see if everything is alright.
14.20 and I am at the children’s corner and here comes the first girl. And today is her birthday! Hooray!

I love such days! We need some balloons here! And here is the second girl and it is also her birthday today. We usually have very unusual girls here. This one is very creative and she wanted to paint her face like that!

14.30 you might think that we are talking about random stuff but this is totally not true. We are talking about the staff that works during the night. This guy’s name is Kirill and he is responsible for that.

15.00 I will show you something special. Today we are giving a special present to Mary. She works here for the third year. So we will give her that thing. And on my hand you can see an amazing ring of power as I call it This is how it looks like!

I love this moment. The staff is all here. And we are happy for Mary. We are proud of you!

The atmosphere is warm and home like. We are always happy for each other.

4.00pm and it is time to go home! I am starting to get ready to leave. And I have to finish all my deals. So… Now we are taking about our staff and the way they are working today. We are also discussing the way the birthdays went by. So it turns out that the children were all happy and their mothers too. Amazing!

Here is our staff. I gathered all of them here for the picture. These girls know how to treat guests. They are just professionals. They know how to satisfy everybody. And they also make children happy and cheerful. They can decorate the table and bring balloons. They are ready to help in any situation)
My work is practically over for today. This was a hard day.
16.10 and this is the time when this picture appeared. My girls are so hard-working and pretty!

Now I am leaving the place. My car need cleaning. They will manage to complete everything without me)

16:45 and I am practically home. But for today I have another deal. I need to say good bye to my lovely sister. She is leaving for the weekend. She goes to see our parents. But before that I got some spare time.
18.00 I am having supper. I am going to take a week-off in summer so i try to keep fit right now. It is so difficult to live without pancakes. OMG! I am just suffering so much. I hope I will be sexy in summer. By the way I have been working in MacDonald’s like for ten years now and it is not influencing on my figure. Only in a good way! So all the talks that it is unhealthy and bad is all crap! Eating fried potatoes at home is really bad but here… Nope! Our food is totally healthy and good. On the labels you can read all the information about vitamins and calories!

18:10 checking the mail and just surfing the INTERNET.

20:00 we are in the car and heading to the railway station. I love Moscow at night. So adorable! And here is my pretty sister!

So my sister got on the train and I decided to go to the center. Maybe I can drive to McDonald’s for a cup of coffee? Oh… Nope. It is too late for coffee. Time to get back home.

22:00 and now it is time to sleep! I need energy for tomorrow!

Besides tomorrow is a really important day. We have like billions of birthdays. Good night! See you all at McDonald’s!
