One Day of a Provincial Manager

Turning Saturday into a working day is not the best one may decide. I have no fixed office hours but have to be at an office anyway. I find it more convenient than working all alone at home.

No car, no traffic jams!

Yekaterinburg is small enough, it can be crossed from west to east for 3 hours afoot. Why do they need public transport and cars that much?

Have to buy a present for my collegue for her birthday. She is a 100% hipster.

Came to my university to get money for teaching an “internet marketing course”.

4,5 USD for a class. Not much, or course, but the main result is not money but three new employees in the company.

My work is targeted advertising and community management. Two employees are subordinate to me.

Like many other people my work is not limited to only work at work )) For example I collect signatures to protect Kachnakar mountain which is now under serious threat of levelling to the ground. People do not care much about Ural beauties.

To Kachnakar, of course. At the same time I will give the local buddhist monks the signatures I have collected. I am far from all this buddhist stuff but there is nobody to protect the mountain but them.

I like physical labor, you know. Hands should constantly work, it’s good bor both your head and morality. I am sure that lack of physical work is the main reason of human snobbery and arrogance.
