Hello! I am Vika and I am an alcoholic. It’s hard to restrain alcohol in such weather )) Instead of lying on a beach I work as a workhorse in a village called Wimereux right on the back of the English channel.

We are having good time in a volunteer camp in France. Me and Dasha, my friend.

I woke up in a tent alone. Dasha had left earlier to make breakfast. Mess in the girls’ tent.

Dressing. The sneakers do not look good after the rain of yesterday.

Having breakfast. I drink from the cup I had bought for 1 euro at the garage sale.

The weather is bad today so it means we won’t work, hurray!

In general we have three orders daily – cleaning, cooking and washing.

We decided to go to Lille today by autostop.

There at last. Very beautiful around. And here is our working place – forte de la crèche. It was built in the epoch of Napoleon and was used as a military fort.

Auto stop was luckier this time. Only three cars and we were there.

At the station. Heading to the centre of the city where we see this wonderful church. It was the first time I saw a children’s corner in a church.
