Hello, everyone!
My name is Roman, 36, from Moscow, Russia. I am a photographer. That day I was shooting a wedding – September, 15, 2012.

I had to get up early, by 10 o’clock I had to be at the bride’s. I had to go far, to another end of the city. This photo remained from some exhibition.

I am not too hungry but I eat a bit. I always worry before wedding photoshoots.

These are my special “wedding” socks.

Wife and children are still asleep.

The weather is perfect for the photoshoot. Dull and not too hot.

They are ready for more wedding materials.

This is what I need for work.

It is me in the mirror.

I prefer Japanese equipment and Japanese cars.

It’ll help me to find the bride.

I have to pick my assistant up.

Vladimir is also a wedding photographer. Today he’s going to help me.

When you enter a bride’s apartment you feel some special atmosphere. It swallows you and you feel like home, everything goes as it should be. You just shouldn’t miss important moments. That’s why I have a rule I always follow: “If you feel you can shoot something right now, do it, even if you are 100% sure you’ll have another opportunity to do this”.

I am shooting the bride.

The bridegroom is coming for his bride.

They ordered a limo but something went wrong, so…

We are heading to the registry office.

It’s raining.

Sometimes drivers at weddings behave rudely on roads.

And here we are.

Wedding cars are numerous and it’s hard to park.

The sign writes “registry office”.

I meet Igor, my colleague.

The process is going on.

My assistant is carrying my heavy equiment, I have to buy a bag for this.

My couple met friends here, they had spent a night at the registry office together to apply. It’s what couples have to undergo to create a new family.

I give some instructions to the newlyweds how to behave in order the photos are good. Everyone is ready.
I take a test photo to check the light.

They both say “I do!”, friends and relatives start to congratulate them and give flowers.

We take some shots at the doors.

The weather is nice now.

It’s not such an easy job.

Guys are posing.

We’re leaving.

The parked this way to show off the advantages of their cars.

I take some more photos.

We are going to a nice place, Kuskovo.

It writes “T-34″ – the winner tank!”

It’s not only us who came for a photoshoot here.

Parks started to charge those who wants to take photos… It costs about 16 USD.

I had been shooting these guys some years ago, there are three of them today! )

Me and the operator change each other while working.

I always ask brides to lie on the grass, they all usually agree, and I always have a mat to offer them.

We are finally coming to the exit.

Then I have a joyride.

We’re heding to the restaurant.

The guests are waiting for us.

Today I work till the very end.

The first dance of the newlyweds.

Time flies.

This is their wedding cake.

Hurray! I am going home at last, the navigator helps me not to lose my way in the dark.

I am almost home.

I am there. And I am so tired. Today I’ve taken about 4500 shots. It’s a long process. But I am going to work with it tomorrow. So what we have: fifteen hours on my feet, tomorrow they will hurt, I know for sure…
