Hello. I am Anton, a photographer – freelancer. I live in Irkutsk but this day was shot in Yekaterinburg. The reason I was there was one project for one good magazine, I had to write about the city.
The alarm clock rang at 4 a.m. but I got up a bit later.
This is me having a shower in a dormitory.
I do some yoga exercises in the corridor while my roommate is sleeping.
This is my substancial breakfast, I do not finish it and take the remains with me.
I’m dressing.
This is my plan for the day but it is usually alternated.

This is Natalia, she is a conductor but she says she is also a healer, she heals souls of people.
The first destination of mine – the post office. Here they are unloading mails.
They are sorting papers.
Then I go to this temple.
And soon I find myself in the belfry.
It’s the morning service in the temple.

Then I meet Olga Ivanovna. She drinks beer and tells me about her past when she was a police officer, and how she wants her sister out of the sect…
Then I visited the fund “The city without drugs”.
There’ re many pictures in the place.
I wanted to visit some place where they sold drugs. But subsequently I didn’t.

I am back at the temple to shoot around.
I am in the church elevator.
I am in the state university of Yekaterinburg. These guys are specialists in the sphere of robotics. They are being constantly brought new Japanese robots which they disassemble and study.
I go another temple which is one the first floor of the five-storey house. But I leave soon cause I don’t find anything interesting there.
This is Father Alexey of the church.
This temple is more than ten years already. It is being promised a nice place to move to but something always goes wrong. Though they are trying to beautify what they have.
I am in the centre of the city for a walk.
6:36 p.m. I am at the exposition of the Second Ural Biennale of Modern Art.
It’s the room with revolutionary slogans and the lamp (when it’s off a appears the sign: “all in vain”).
Classical shot for such a place – people are being explained what this bizarre thing means… If it means something…
People in these TV sets speak in different languages.
At 7:00 I am at another place, to see the performance about the local poet. He hanged himself in 2001 being only 26. It was the brightest impression of the day.
Then we go to the fire show.
Then I meet with Masha, my collegue, she’s the girl who will join me when I go to night clubs of Yekaterinburg.
I am at the bar, the place for local hipsters 
This guy is the director of the bar.
Sasha is a student of the faculty for cameramen.

Deep at night we are in the night club. These people are all drunk but we don’t leave cause we don’t want to sleep.
The guys are here to edit their reports for the project.
I am back after the one hour walk along the city streets.
But it’s time to sleep, bye!
