Hello!
My name is Jane. I am in France now and this day was devoted to pumpkins! See my October, 21st in Nice.

My younger son is instead of an alarm clock. I wake up at 7. When I open my eyes children start jumping over me. Then we wash and go to the kitchen. Marina is cooking porridge.

I prepare this food to take with us.

We choose pumpkin color today! Or at least tomato one.

We are heading to the tramway stop.

It’s the railway station of Nice.

It takes 40 minutes to get to Grass.

This is a timetable of trains. But we need a taxi now.

We are there at 12 though it started at 9.

It was rather crowded.

They sell all sorts of pumpkins.

It’s me at the pumpin carriage!

These are candles!

And souvenirs are numerous.

Everything is decorated with pumpkins.

All these items are made by one woman.

Aren’t they nice?

And the hats are cool!

I stand next to the owner of the pumpkins.

Children are having a master class.

They cooked a lot of dishes from pumpkin there but we had to spend plenty of time to taste them so we left.

Though we ordered a pumpkin pie and risotto from pumpkin and ham.

It’s hard to find a vacant table.

If only you could taste this! Mmmm!

There is a playground there and animators entertain people.

We have rest while they play.

One girl bit my son’s hand! How he cried! Animators brought us a medicine chest.

Pumpkins will make him smile again.

We haven’t tasted pumpkin soup yet!

It was cooked in huge pots and then poured into big pumpkins. Besides, one could buy it in bottles.

It was tasty but my hubby cooks it even better!

People were wearing orange clothes or decorated themselves with pumpkins.

Children wore cool costumes too.

We spent three hours at the holiday. Children fell asleep in the buggies.

But more people were coming to the event.

We went to the nearest cafe in Grass.

From there we call a taxi.

There were cool cakes in the cafe.

And chocolate.

The interior was cool too.

We are treated to the bread just baked by the old man, the owner of the cafe. Then the children wake up.

We are having coffee.

The taxi is here!

The supermarket is luckily open even on Sunday. We should buy some sweets.

My younger son got acquanted with three adult girls. He chose real beauties! )

The railway goes along the sea.

Marina and me photograph each other a bit.

That guy caught my eye.)

We are going home afoot from the station.

People rest and fall in love.

It’s getting dark.

The “pumpkin” clothes need to be washed now.)

It is high time to take a shower.

Meanwhile the kids are playing dirty…

Then we come to the kitchen and we take out the bottles with pumpkin soup.

I add salt, pepper, spices, basil and heat it in the microwave oven: three portions in the same way.

It’s so hard to buy children’s food here. So I cook soup for the baby. I add paste to it. The baby likes it.

The feet are so tired but it was worth it.
