One Day To Make This World Cleaner

Good day! I am Alena from Kiev, Ukraine. I left my work to do something really useful. Now I live at the place of my friend and we decided to clean a forest and make a video about it. We called our project “Is it OK that the forest is dirty?”
So, this is our November, 4th, 2012.

It is time to wake up! The day will be active.

I wanted this day to be sunny so much!

In the morning I have some apple pie and coffee.

Then I go to the bathroom.

Some makeup and I am ready to show myself. I haven’t been using cosmetics for three months! But today I do it for the video.

I stepped in the turtle in the bathroom.

His name is Skull.

I watch a musical “Bremen Town Musicians” in order to start this day well.

I am not the only one to see it.

Wow! My palm tree has appeared in the pot!

It is already nine, but I haven’t packed my items yet.

We take shovels and other stuff and go to the forest.

Sergey is already shooting the video.

We are going to the station to ask for a trolley there.

Morning sun makes this November day warmer.

The sky is absolutely cloudless.

The forest is entrancing.

We gonna clean this!

There were twenty of us in the forest, but it was not enough to clean all the forest.

We even didn’t have time to shoot, so busy we were with our work.

Then we decided to have a picnic. This place used to be ours, but someone has been here and left all this…

At 4 p.m. we ran out of garbage bags. Unfortunately we had no sponsors. Before darkness we had to carry these bags through the five railway lines. The bags were too heavy and the guys built this folding trestle.

Masha looks satisfied.

We let some trains pass.

These bags are the result of our work.

I still do not understand how we managed to do this. We filled 80 bags (160 litres each!). All the garbage was sent for recycling.

It is getting dark. The guys have brought cakes and cookies, ginger drink and tea. It is time to rest at the fire, play the guitar, tell jokes to each other. This is how it all ends.
