Hi! I am Kate. I am 35, have a husband and two dogs. I live in Savelievo village, not far from Moscow. I am a translator and writer of love stories.

I am awake. Yesterday we celebrated hubby’s b-day so others are still asleep.

But I was waken by the pets.

They are too hungry to sleep.

And they are striving for a walk.

Ok, let them run on the snow outside.

I pick in the washing and water the flowers.

And I clean in the baths.

We take some plates for breakfast.

My morning look in glasses.

Meantime, my daughter is up. On the lower bed our guests are sleeping. Mom is making breakfast. We have to widen the beds the way we can.. and we have a lot of mattresses.

Masha comes to daddy who is still in the bed. Today he can sleep a bit longer.

As for me, I dress and go to the warehouse…

To take extra chairs there..

And to take the skates.

It’s a 5 kW generator in the same house.

We bring garbage here.

I take a shot of the weak sunrise.

I check the mail-box cause I wait for a couple of parcels.

I leave some food for birds.

Hubby is bringing food for birds, too.

Our breakfast today – oatmeal porridge, cheese, sausage and fish.

I find out they we’ve run out of honey and I bring another three litres can. My fathers-in law are beekeepers, they have their own Bashkir honey.

Masha got this IKEA swing from Santa.

Now she flies from one wall to another.

What’s up there?

Soon they get tired.

It’s me in the swing.

Masha is trying the sliding skates on. It’s the first time we are going to skate this winter.

Off we go!

She likes this road sign – where the car falls into water )

Winter joy!

We are skating.

And we also have another type of fun.

We decide to make the skating rink bigger.

Here’s what we get.

But it’s time to go home.

The dogs were trying to get ginger cookies from the Christmas tree and broke it. So we had to disassemble it and throw it away.

Meanwhile, mom is cooking.

And Masha is drawing another picture for daddy’s b-day.

I am helping mom.

We are here to have lunch.

The picture is ready!

While we are drinking tea, Masha is training the dogs.

Masha go to classes of hand-to-hand fighting and we should go there right now.

On the way we drop in the store.

She already has many medals and often wins. As you can see the dressing room is empty, Masha is the only girl here.

I am khitting socks while waiting for her. It’s what we always need in our private house.

We are back home.

The dogs are torturing the snake – the symbol of this year.

Meanwhile, I am busy with the dishwasher again.

And with the potatoes for dinner.

I feed the dogs and let them walk. In the background is our pantry.

Masha prefers to choose dresses herself.

While I am cooking with mom, Masha is playing with the farm.

And is painting her sword.

We gather for dinner.

The men also want some sandwiches with caviar.

Granny and Masha are watching TV. Daughter does not like commercials, always swears when sees them.

Shower time!

We usually read “Hobbit” before sleep. It’s interesting despite the movies we’ve seen. But when granny is here they read Russian folk tales.

Me and hubby are in the kitchen to drink tea. Then I start writing this post and hubby goes outside with the dogs to see fireworks launched by the neighbours. They still celebrate New Year holidays.

But it is time to go to bed. Tomorrow everything will start from the very beginning.

Nice photos. Do you use the generator to power your whole house?
